You can choose where you live but you can’t choose your neighbours. If you are renting a property or own property you will more than likely have neighbours over the fence. Most of the time things run smoothly.
However, when things take a turn for the worse relationships with the neighbour can deteriorate quite quickly.

Example:
Joe’s neighbour, John, over the back fence has just put in a swimming pool and has told the Council that the boundary fence makes up part of the pool fence. However, the Council has told John that Joe’s shed is too close to the
boundary fence he can’t use the swimming pool until the fence is compliant for swimming pools. The next day John calls over to Joe that he’s going to have to move his shed because of the pool. Joe shouts back “why should I have to move my shed!”
